What is Buygiftsave.com?

BuyGiftSave.com is a gifting and saving platform designed with parents, gift-givers and children in mind. BGS is a convenient way for parents/hosts to plan and invite guests to an event by sending virtual invitations, creating a gift registry from our wide variety of gifts and, best of all, linking a savings account for your child so that monetary gifts can be deposited straight into the account.

How does BuyGiftSave.com work?

  1. Create an event for a birthday, holiday, or any other reason;
  2. Set up a gift registry from our large selection of gifts, add crowd gifts, and/or iOS or GooglePlay gift cards;
  3. Enter a savings or checking account so that cash gifts can be deposited directly into the account;
  4. Upload your selected contacts via Facebook or GooglePlus, or upload manually;.
  5. Once friends and family receive your customized virtual invitation, they select an overall budget, and a gift from the pre-selected registry. The balance of the overall budget minus the cost of the gift, shipping and the Buygiftsave convenience fee of $4.99, will be deposited into the savings or checking account.

What are the benefits of using Buygiftsave.com for parents/hosts?

BuyGiftSave.com allows you to control what gifts your child is receiving, eliminates duplicate gifts and, best of all, helps you to save for your child's future as the balance of the gift-giver’s total budget* will be deposited into the savings/checking account for your child.

What are the benefits of using Buygiftsave.com for the gift givers/guests?

It is the most convenient way to give a gift, with just a few clicks and no guesswork involved. Gift-givers no longer have to worry whether the child will like their chosen gift. All the gifts have been preselected by hosts/parents. The best part is that the gift-givers will feel gratified because they too are helping contribute to the little one’s future, since any balance from the gift-giver’s overall budget will be deposited directly into the child's savings account. The BGS convenience fee of $4.99 and shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted from the gift-giver’s overall budget.

What if I do not want to link my bank account to the BuyGiftSave website? Can I still use it?

If you do not link a bank account when you create an event, you can still utilize the website and the convenient tools. However, in order for BGS to have the ability to process the purchased gifts and monetary donations on the gift-giver’s behalf and make deposits into your bank account, the bank account must be linked and verified to the BuyGiftSave website within seven (7) days from the first purchase for the event.

What is the BuyGiftSave Seven (7) Day Cancellation Policy?

In the event you create an event but do not verify and link a bank account, you will have seven (7) days from the first purchase for the event to verify the bank account. In the event that after 7 days the bank account has NOT been linked and verified, ALL GIFTS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE GIFT-GIVERS.

Can I put items from other websites on my gift registry on Buygiftsave.com?

At BuyGiftSave.com we offer a wide variety of gifts, as well as GooglePlay and iTunes gift cards. And you can also choose to add a large crowd gift by uploading an image of the item and description. This will allow your guests to contribute towards large items (crowd gifts). Since Buygiftsave.com's mission is to raise awareness of the importance of saving for the child's future, the gifts for the child to play with will be relatively inexpensive. The objective is to have as many monetary gifts as possible deposited into the child's account to help save for their future.

What is a crowd gift? And how does it work?

A crowd gift is a large item, and can be anything from an iPad to a new bicycle or a dream Disney vacation! As a host/parent, you upload a picture (optional), the cost of the item and a description (optional) of the item and gift-givers have the ability to contribute to the item.

Can I make changes to my event?

Absolutely. You can make changes to any or all portions of the event: date, time, location, personalized invitation design. You may also add and remove products, including crowd gifts, and add guests.

What if I need to cancel an event completely?

Since BGS has a unique process, there is no way BGS can cancel the event at our end. BGS does not have access to the email list of your guests, nor does it have the authority to go into guests’ emails. Thus, if you must cancel an event, it is solely the event host's responsibility to notify your guests. BGS has a messaging system on the website which you are welcome to utilize.

Are there any fees involved?

There are absolutely no fees for the host/parent! Send our virtual invites, create gift registries and take advantage of all our event management tools. The gift-givers are charged $4.99 as a processing and convenience charge. Please note, any gifts over $50.01 will be charged an additional processing fee of 4.99%—a small price to pay for eliminating guesswork and a trip to the toy store, and helping the child save for their future!

Can you ship directly to the parents/host?

Gift-givers have the option to ship directly to the parents/host or to any address of their choice.

Does BuyGiftSave.com offer any upgrades to personalize the gift?

BuyGiftSave.com will include a free printed gift message. If you want to make a gift more special, you can upgrade to a handwritten card at checkout for an additional $4.99.

Returns and Exchanges?

BuyGiftSave take pride in our products and we stand by what we ship. We want it perfect every time. BuyGiftSave will exchange any item that has been damaged during shipping. Just take a picture of the damaged item and email it to admin@buygiftsave.com. Once our customer service reviews the order and determines that it was damaged during shipping, we will ship out the new item at no additional cost.

If the item is not damaged then the exchange process must be submitted by the gift-giver. Once the gift-giver submits the request, they will be responsible for the shipping costs for return and to send the new item. There are no refunds for cash.

What happens if my order is lost?

Once an order is placed, you should receive a confirmation email. Make sure you check your junk mail! If you suspect that your order is lost or did not process, please contact us at admin@buygiftsave.com for further assistance. If an order is lost by the third party (UPS), BuyGiftSave is not responsible for the merchandise.

Banking Security Guaranteed

In short, we have the highest security rating that you could have! There are no security standards higher than what we provide!

What that means is that any card information which is entered is encrypted so that no sensitive data touches our servers for the safety of the customer and in keeping with PCI compliance standards. This is also known as tokenization. In other words, sensitive information which is collected is turned into something else entirely called a token. With this token we can confirm that the secure information such as banking information or a credit card is real and then return credit to the account or charge the credit card. This happens instantaneously.


Below is the step by step breakdown of how this is done and how all the sensitive and nonsensitive information is kept secure:


  1. The banking/non-sensitive information of any account prevent platforms from using the data for any purpose other than providing Platform Services, in order to keep our users' information secure.
  2. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of the internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. The information is stored with a third party, and the infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn't share any credentials with Stripe's primary services (API, website, etc.).
  3. The third party has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 4. This is the most stringent level of certification available. The third party also forces HTTPS for all services, including our public website and regularly audit the details of our implementation: the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. They use HSTS to ensure browsers interact with the third party only over HTTPS. Further, their HSTS preloaded lists for both Chrome and Firefox.
  4. Anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of credit card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

  2. Once 5 gift givers(guests) complete their transactions, the $15.00 Amazon Gift Card will be emailed to the event host.
  3. The Amazon $15.00 Gift Card will be emailed to the email addressed which was used to create the specified event.
  4. The $15.00 Amazon Gift Card will only be valid to use in the US on the Amazon website. The $15.00 Amazon Gift Card cannot be used on any Amazon affiliate websites nor can it be used outside of the US.
  5. The $15.00 Amazon Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash on the BuyGiftSave website, Amazon website or any other affiliated Amazon websites. It can only be used to make purchases on the Amazon website in the US.

  1. The $5 promotional code will only be valid when a “new” user creates an event, invites guests and creates a gift registry. A minimum of five (5) gift givers (guests) must use BuyGiftSave to purchase a gift for the specified event.
  2. When 5 gift givers(guests) complete the transaction, the $5.00 will be available for the event host to use toward purchases on the BuyGiftSave website for the hosted event or future events.
  3. The $5.00 code will be valid for six (6) months.
  4. The promo code will not have cash value and can only be used on the BuyGiftSave website.

Promotional Code Terms and Conditions

Offer is for a limited time only and a limited number of Promo Codes are available. Offer ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on the date specified in the offer message or when all Promo Codes are claimed, whichever is earlier.

Returned Merchandise

Exchange/Return Policy for Gifts:
  1. Gifts cannot be return for cash value.
  2. Exchanges of the gift can be processed only by Gift Giver.
  3. Gift Givers will be issued a EA (exchange authorization number).
  4. Gift Giver will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping as well as the new shipping cost of new item.
  5. Any gift that needs to be returned or exchanged for whatever reason needs to be returned with a EA# assigend from admin@buygiftsave.com
  6. Please use a tracking service such as UPS or FedEx. If you choose to ship with USPS we encourage you do so with a return receipt.
  7. The EA# number should be clearly on the package beings sent back.
  8. Exchanges for damaged items will be processed as follows:
    1. If you receive a damaged item, please take a picture of the item and email it to admin@buygiftsave.com
    2. Our Customer Service department will inspect the image, once the inspection is complete we will notify you if the item will be replaced.
    3. If it is determined that the item was in fact damaged during shipping we will replace it at no additional cost.

Returns/Reversals for Monetary Gifts:

All money deposits are final and cannot be reversed.

  • We strive to get your merchandise to you as quickly as possible. BuyGiftSave ships to the 48 contiguous and provides shipping services to those states. Please note all services are available for each product type and all delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on weather, holiday, service delays etc.
  • Once an item is shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
  • Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico will increase the delivery time anywhere from 7 to 10 additional days, these times are not guaranteed, and are estimates.
  • BuyGiftSave does not ship to P.O. Boxes – please be sure to provide the actual street address for delivery - orders submitted with P.O. Box for shipping address will not be processed.
  • Items will not ship to to APO/FPO/PO Box addresses, PO Boxes in Continental US, PO Boxes in Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Customer is solely responsible and liable for incorrect delivery information submitted at time of order.
  • All orders require a valid street address.

Order Tracking

You will receive a ship confirmation email that will contain your tracking number for your order. Please note that if you placed an order for multiple items, those items may ship separately and result in multiple tracking numbers. Not all tracking numbers will show movement immediately. It is possible that while the order has left our facility, it may take up to 48 hours or longer before the package is checked into the carrier's tracking system.

  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
